Augmented reality is one step closer to blurring the line between the real world and the computer-generated one. Pokemon Go is an AR game created in 2016 for Pokemon fans and other users so that they can have an interactive and immersive experience with the game. You can capture, battle with Pokemon and even train them in this game. Before diving into how to evolve Cosmoem, let us know a little more about Pokemon Go. Niantic Inc. developed the game and published it as well by collaborating with Nintendo and The Pokemon Company.
This game is playable on both iOS and Android devices. In this game, the Pokemon to capture and battle with appear as if they are in the player’s real-world location. Users can play the game for free, although it does support some in-app purchases. There are up to 700 species of Pokemon in the game as of 2021. Now, about the Pokemon in question, Cosmoem. Cosmoem is a Pokemon that is from Generation VII, and it is a Psychic -type Legendary Pokemon. This Pokemon is the evolved form of Cosmog, and it can evolve into Solgaleo and Lunala.
As for how Cosmoem looks physically, it is unique, which is a characteristic of every Pokemon. It is roughly the shape of an eye which looks like it is from outer space. It has a pupil in the middle with curves on it that look like a pair of closed eyes.
Cosmoem doesn’t eat, sleep or even breathe. What it does is absorb starlight so that it can slowly grow. Cosmoem has a golden shell surrounding it, and the material of the shell is one of the hardest substances found in the world. This Pokemon is also known as the “Cocoon of Stars” because of its celestial aspect. Among Pokemon, Cosmoem is one of the shortest but also one of the heaviest.
How to evolve Cosmoem
You get a Cosmog Pokemon when you start a quest called “A Cosmic Companion” in the new season of Pokemon Go. You need to follow some rules if you want to evolve your Cosmoem Pokemon into any one of the Legendary type Pokemon, Solgaleo or Lunala.
Evolving your Cosmoem into either Solgaleo or Lunala depends on the time of day of the evolution. That is, it depends on whether the evolution is taking place during the day or at night. In addition to the time, another factor that comes into play is the number of something called the Cosmog Candy. You need to give your Cosmoem Pokemon a fixed number of Cosmog Candy before any evolution can take place.
Cosmog candies are not very easy to come by, though. But don’t worry, as there are a few tricks in the game you can use to collect and secure your Cosmog Candy so that you can evolve your Cosmoem into any one of its legendary states.
How to get Cosmog Candy
If you want to evolve your Cosmoem into either Solgaleo or Lunala, you will need to collect a certain amount of Cosmog Candies. The three known ways to receive Cosmog Candies are as follows.
- This first method is the most effective when it comes to earning a good quantity of Cosmog Candies in one go. What you need to do is complete a step in the Research Quest “A Cosmic Companion” of the latest season, the Season of Light. You are required to catch three Pokemon of any type, and you will be awarded up to 50 Cosmog Candies.
- Another way you can earn Cosmog Candy is by turning your Cosmoem into a buddy and taking it for walks.
- And the final method is to give your Cosmoem some rare candy which turns into Cosmog Candy because that is what you need.
Evolving Cosmoem into Solgaleo
As we have mentioned before, the time in which the evolution takes place is an important factor that determines whether Cosmoem evolves into Solgaleo or Lunala. If you want to evolve your Cosmoem into Solgaleo, the evolution must be done during the day, and you must give your Cosmoem 100 Cosmog Candies.
Evolving Cosmoem into Lunala
To turn your Cosmoem into Lunala, you need to evolve during the night. Just as before, you will need 100 Cosmog Candies for this evolution as well.
