Who Is AleXa?
Alexandra Christine Schneiderman, better known by her stage name AleXa, was born on 9 December 1996. She is an American singer, rapper, and dancer active in South Korea. Alexa’s parents’ are mixed blood. Whereas her mother is half Korean, her father is half Russian. She also has a brother. Like many kpop artists, AleXa had already dreamed of becoming a part of this industry since her younger age. Therefore, she enrolled in multiple dance lessons such as hip hop, jazz, ballet, and tap. However, her journey to be a kpop artist was not simple.
Initially, AleXa participated in various auditions and competitions such as 2016 Rising Legends, 2017 Rising Legends, and Produce 48. She spent more than two years as a trainee before signing a contract with Zanybros’ ZB Label in 2018. Finally, the opportunity came, and AleXa debuted with her first single album, ‘Bomb’ in October 2019! Since then, Alexa has been actively working in the Kpop industry. She has released various singles such as Do or Die, Never Let You Go, Xtra, etc.
Furthermore, the soloist had collaborated with Dreamacter, In2lt, TheFatRat, Bader Alshuaibi, and Daedo. She sang her first kdrama ost in 2021 for the kdrama ‘Somehow Family,’ ‘I Miss You Every Day.’ The rapper also appeared in the web show Virtual Top Ten Song and even co-hosted a podcast.
