Evil has returned! Last season, the hit supernatural horror series moved to streaming services, allowing the former CBS network drama to push things even further. That’s saying a lot since this show has never backed away from pushing the boundaries of its subject matter. What can audiences expect from Evil season 3? It picks off immediately where the second season’s conclusion ended. David and Kristen’s chemistry has been evident since the beginning. Their attraction has been restricted not simply because Kristen was engaged when they met but also because David’s path has been guiding him to the priesthood. As we head into the new season, let’s look into the Episode Schedule for Evil Season 3.
However, they kissed soon after David was married at the end of Season 2. What a case of bad timing! Now, this odd duo must deal with the consequences of crossing lines and what it means for their future. It doesn’t help the matter that David is a member of “the entity,” the Catholic church’s secretive intelligence team. Ben is also beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Because of the unsolved crimes he and his coworkers have been working on, he turns to the only person he can potentially turn to for help, his sister.
Plot
Evil is a supernatural drama that premiered in 2019. The series is highly popular since each episode is unique from the one before it. Ben Shakir, Kristen Bouchard, and David Acosta examine fresh cases in each episode. Kristen dealt with the Evil within her in Season 2, and David’s desire to deliver justice to the world will be the focus of Season 3. Season 3 will focus on Evil becoming closer to home. Moreover, the romantic connection and warm romance among coworkers will only further keep challenging David and Kristen, who are both in dedicated relationships. Karima, Ben’s sister, will be increasingly involved in her brother’s cases, while Emerson will be seen working for the church.
Evil Season 3 Cast
Of course, the paranormal detective team of David Acosta (Colter), Kirsten Bouchard (Herbers), and Ben Shakir (Mandvi) will be returning. Kirsten’s mom, Sheryl (Christine Lahti), will be back, as she had recently joined the secret club that represents the 60 demonic mansions on Earth the last time we saw her. Lexis (Maddy Crocco), Lynn (Brooklyn Shuck), and Laura (Dalya Knapp), Kirsten’s daughters, will all appear in Season 3. With Kirsten’s daughters and their connection to Evil’s depravity, there are a bunch of loose ends to tie up.
Michael Emerson (The Practice) will reprise his role as adversary Leland Townsend, and Kurt Fuller will reprise his role as Kirsten’s therapist, Dr. Boggs. Wallace Shawn seems to be in at minimum one of the episodes, according to the teaser. Boris McGiver (The Servant) and Patrick Brammall (Glitch) will reprise their roles as Monsignor Korecki and Andy Bouchard, respectively.
Where To Watch The Evil Season 3?
Season 3 will be available to watch on Paramount+ exclusively. However, the first two seasons’ streaming timeline and availability can be a little complicated, so let’s break it down. Season 1 was bought up by Netflix in October 2020, considerably increasing the viewership. When Paramount+ took over the show from CBS in May 2021, they chose not to air Season 2 on Netflix, much to the rage of the new viewers that Netflix had brought in. How heinous.
Seasons 1 & 2 are presently available for streaming on Paramount+. However, a subscription is required. Season 1 is available for streaming on Amazon Prime till June 30, 2022, if you don’t have a Paramount+ subscription and would like to check out the show before subscribing to the $9.99/month subscription.
