At first, she falls in love with Prince Wang Wook, the 8th Prince, who is very kind-hearted and warm, but things do not work out with him. She later develops a relationship with Wang So, the 4th Prince, who always used to hide his face behind a mask due to his scar.
The story then brings many twists and turns along with palace politics. Hae Soo is stuck in all this fight between the brother for the thirst for power and the throne.
