Jesse Lee Soffer, known for his role as Detective Jay Halstead on Chicago PD, is joining the cast of FBI: International as a series regular. While both shows belong to the Dick Wolf TV universe, Soffer will not reprise his Halstead character.
After his departure from Chicago P.D., fans were left wondering about his future. But worry not, because Soffer is joining the cast of FBI: International for season 4.
Instead, he will portray a new role to replace Luke Kleintank, who recently departed the series. Kleintank’s character, Scott Forrester, was a central figure since the show’s inception but left after three seasons due to family commitments. Soffer also exited Chicago PD after a decade, citing a desire for new challenges and growth.

Described as charming and rakish, Wes is an agent with a keen intuition and unique tactics. He’s determined to achieve justice, no matter what it takes.
