The Odyssey is Christopher Nolan’s epic adaptation of Homer’s legendary Greek poem, following Odysseus as he struggles to return home to Ithaca after the Trojan War. His journey takes him across dangerous seas and into encounters with mythical creatures and figures including the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens, Circe, and Calypso. The film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus alongside Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron. Nolan wrote and directed the film, which was produced by Nolan and Emma Thomas and filmed using IMAX technology.
