Tom Holland has reached a major box office milestone after the combined success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. The 30-year-old actor has reportedly become the highest-grossing actor in theatrical history, with his films collectively earning approximately $15.5 billion worldwide.

The milestone comes during an unusually strong period for Holland. He currently appears in both Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey, with the two movies continuing to generate hundreds of millions of dollars worldwide.

Spider-Man and The Odyssey Push Holland to No. 1

Spider-Man: Brand New Day added another $27.4 million worldwide during the latest weekend, bringing its global total to approximately $2.452 billion. The movie has now become one of the highest-grossing films ever released and continues to move closer to the domestic record held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Meanwhile, The Odyssey added approximately $34.4 million globally, pushing its worldwide total to around $1.68 billion. Holland’s role in Nolan’s epic therefore contributes another enormous theatrical hit to his filmography alongside his long-running success as Peter Parker.

Holland’s reported $15.5 billion career total puts him ahead of Zoe Saldana, who previously held the top position with approximately $15.468 billion following the success of Avatar: Fire and Ash. Scarlett Johansson previously occupied the top spot with around $15.401 billion.

Several other Marvel veterans remain close behind. Samuel L. Jackson has accumulated roughly $14.6 billion, followed by Robert Downey Jr. at approximately $14.3 billion and Chris Pratt at around $14.1 billion.

Holland’s achievement is particularly notable because his position has been boosted by two movies currently playing in theaters rather than relying solely on his previous credits. With both Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey still generating substantial revenue, his career total could continue rising before their theatrical runs conclude.
