Iconic athlete Cristiano Ronaldo recently made a devastating announcement that one of his twin babies had died during childbirth. The Manchester United star and Georgina Rodríguez earlier announced in October 2021 that they were expecting twins and were delighted about it.
As the parents are mourning the death of the little one, Georgina Rodríguez and Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to further confirm the sad news stating that with the deepest sadness, they had to announce that their baby boy had passed away and it is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. This is what the joint statement said.

The poignant note further said that the birth of our baby girl is giving them the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. They continued; this further confirmed that their daughter survived. The couple concluded their message by thanking the doctors and nurses who helped them while they were in the hospital and asked for privacy as they grieved the death of their baby boy. They later revealed that they were going to have one girl and one boy. Ronaldo and Rodríguez also share a daughter Alana, 4. Cristiano Ronaldo has earlier welcomed son Cristiano Jr., and twins Mateo and Eva via surrogacy.
The pair has been together for quite a while as they have been dating since 2016, when they first met at a Gucci store where Rodríguez used to work as a sales assistant. Rodríguez further revealed that they again saw each other at another brand’s event. It was there where they could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside of my work environment, and it was love at first sight for the two.
