Chicago Fire Season 7 Episode 20 Recap
Dr. Matthew Cooper is in the hospital. He went to the hospital for a doctor’s appointment to check his heart. He also made a point of bumping into Dr. Halstead, which was embarrassing. Halstead refused to see him. He didn’t want Cooper returning to the hospital, and he indeed hadn’t told Cooper that he had purchased a building. Cooper, on the other hand, found out about it. He even thanked Halstead for the transaction.
That didn’t appear odd, but Halstead should have known better about knowing Cooper. Cooper was untrustworthy. He posed a risk to himself as well as others. He may also be leaving for an extended time, so now is the time to exact vengeance, and Halstead should have been concerned about his new acquisition.
Halstead
But Halstead didn’t let his thoughts wander after that run-in. He was too preoccupied with being nice to Dr. Asher. Asher and Halstead have a connection. They used to be together. They were pretty serious until she realized she would never be clean if she stayed with the same people, so she left and broke off all contact with her enablers. She has since returned. She is now clean. She’s back at work as an OBGYN at the hospital, and she just got a new patient. Mary is the name of her patient. She is 37 weeks pregnant. Her water hasn’t burst yet, but she arrived approximately halfway dilated. Asher then escorted her patient to the maternity wing.
A doctor was missing in the ER. Dr. Scott was not present. He called in sick at the last minute when the Serbian mob arrived at the hospital and kidnapped him. They forced him to accompany them. They then took him to their superior. Nikola Corluka and his wife Lena had requested that a doctor examine their daughter, Eva. Eva was running a fever, was in discomfort, and wasn’t eating anything. Scott worked as a pediatrician. He turned to face Eva. He was able to discover that the young child required her appendix removed. After that, he told her parents that he couldn’t be the one to do it.
How To Perform A Surgery Without A Surgeon?
Scott wasn’t a doctor. The surgery could not additionally take place in the little girl’s room. She needed to be transferred to the hospital to be operated on. Scott notified her parents, and Lena eventually persuaded her husband to listen to the doctor. Eva was taken to the hospital. Scott stayed at her parents’ side as she was whisked into surgery. He walked them through each step of the process. Eva felt better after surgery and even wanted to eat ice cream. Then she fell. They had to assist her in breathing since she had lost her pulse. Her parents inquired as to what had gone wrong. Scott had no idea.
Scott needed to look into something. So, Scott worked out what was wrong with Eva. Eva has an uncommon respiratory condition, requiring extra oxygen at night or after surgery. Her grateful parents acknowledged Scott for saving her life.
