Watch the ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 13 Trailer
On September 18, a teaser was released for all three One Chicago shows, and you can watch it above. Although it is not a trailer specific to Chicago Fire, it does feature an exciting moment for fans. It includes an interview with Dermot Mulroney, who plays Firehouse 51’s new fire chief, Dom Pascal.
Mulroney expresses his excitement, saying, “It’s great to join Chicago Fire,” while the teaser shows him in his sharp new uniform, taking charge at the station.
Mulroney’s character, Dom Pascal, replaces Eamonn Walker’s Wallace Boden, a long-time fixture at Firehouse 51.
Boden’s departure was a major surprise for fans, but the transition is made easier by the news that Walker will return in a guest role. His presence won’t entirely disappear from the series just yet.
With these changes, Chicago Fire is entering a new phase. Showrunner Andrea Newman commented on this shift in an interview with NBC Insider, stating, “It is a new era [of Chicago Fire] in many ways, but the core family is still together and will rely on each other to go through the twists and turns ahead.”
Newman also mentioned that fans can expect Season 13 to feature darker themes, with fresh challenges, battles, and excitement as things change at Firehouse 51.
NBC also released a preview for Season 13, stating:
“It’s impossible to predict where Chicago Fire’s non-stop action will go next, but fans can prepare for more intense rescue missions and dramatic moments at Firehouse 51 under Mulroney’s new fire chief.
With some changes in staff during Season 12, viewers are eagerly awaiting how the firefighters will handle these new challenges.”
