Excited about Chainsaw Man Chapter 125? Well, we are here for you! Even since Part 2 of Chainsaw Man began, we have dived pretty deep into Asa as a character, we have seen a lot of her ups, and we have defiantly seen a lot of her downs, more than ups, and every time that Asa has a flashback, every time we have seen some sort of companionship that is been growing between her or another character, it always ends in a very bad way.

Every little bit of happiness that she manages to find ends up just backfiring and it turns out to have a very sad ending, and as you continue to experience this throughout your life, eventually, you will start to think “what’s the point”, what is the point, to continue to go down this path, living in a world that is nothing but just misery, and I think this is what makes Chainsaw Man, especially part 2, such a fantastic read.

The recent chapter brings me back to the old days when I used to read Tokyo Ghoul because Tokyo Ghoul was just straight up a fantastic character drama, and in a very similar way to that, I will say that Chainsaw Man Part 2 with Asa’s character with Yoru, has defiantly put that on full display, between these two characters.

This is the reason why, let us take a look at what the previous chapter 124 was all about, before revealing the release date of the upcoming Chainsaw Man Chapter 125, what it is going to be all about, its spoilers, and where can you read the same online.

So, Asa basically is afraid of Yoru, she is afraid of solitude and companionship, and it is very quick to kind of broad perspective of what this means, etc, but get to the heart of it, of what she means by this little saying that she did with this chapter is that, she is afraid of finding someone that she can grow close with like Denji is a good example, and then all of a sudden when she thinks that she is going to be happy, something goes wrong, either she causes it, someone else causes it or some weird unknown thing causes it, everything always ends up in a very bad way.

Asa is afraid of all this because every time she feels happy she knows it is going to end in a very sad way, and she constantly questions, “What is the point?”, this is kind of one of her sources of negativity that is going on throughout this new arc that we have gotten into, but this also could be applied to Yoru and Asa’s relationship, and that is a big part of what is going on here.

When Asa says that she is afraid, Yoru’s response was that the devil’s power is making Asa negative. To really get to the clarity of this matter, she does not want to get close to Yoru just has something very sad happen at the very end, and a good example of this is, is that Yoru is obviously a devil, and Asa is aware of this.

In addition to this, Asa is aware of the contract and they are using the same body, it is just a beneficial relationship between the two, and basically once eventually Chainsaw Man is defeated in their eyes, that is where they part ways, and could probably end up in a very sad way, because Asa probably has to sacrifice something really dear to her, just to be able to probably bring down Chainsaw Man.

when you will get the entire structure of the way this is going; Asa doesn’t want to lose Yoru, she doesn’t want to grow close to Yoru, and that is obviously what is happening. As they continue to talk, and have these very intimate moments that are going on within this chapter, their bond grows a lot deeper.

One thing, many have not actually thought about or maybe have now started to think about, thanks to this chapter is that we got a hint, about what is going to happen in the future of Part 2 of Chainsaw Man, and if you don’t know what I am talking about, I am talking about the Nail Knife, that was created within this chapter.

So basically we got a demonstration that Yoru and Asa are capable of creating weapons out of their own body, we could kind of assume that this is kind of a thing, but we get a good demonstration of this within this chapter, that when Asa says “Nail Knife”, her literal nail popped off and then you see, they form a knife, and this is a very small little detail.

Obviously, the way this was used was to basically say the pain would ground her back to reality literally, and she would not fall to the sky and go in through the hell down, and obviously, that was all that pain was doing, she was doing, she was just getting her thoughts off the negativity of the past, and just focusing on the current present.

As the knife falls to the ground, instantly my mind started to think about; this means hypothetically that Asa and even Yoru could turn their own self into a weapon, sacrifice themselves for the other, and think about the objective of Yoru, what she is trying to achieve?

Yoru’s objective is to find a weapon to be able to defeat Chainsaw Man and what better weapon than someone like either Yoru-Asa, those two knew each other, intimately that can see each other’s emotions and thoughts and understand what they are thinking and even give the darkest secrets to each other and they know about it, both of them do.

When you think about the situation, it is very clear as time goes on Yoru is going to grow connected with Asa, in fact, we even got a good example of that, within this chapter. Yoru says that with her agility, they might escape, but Asa’s fear jeopardizes her survival; in this very brief panel, she does not say “we” she does not say “herself”, she basically says “Asa” her survival, and I know that this could be slightly out of context, but the way it is worded, it implies that Yoru is saying that she is worried about Asa’s survival, and it wasn’t completely out of selfishness, unlike the character of Yoru.

There was some layer to it, that Yoru does care about Asa, this very brief exchange or just trying to get to know each other, and even Asa stating after those words, Yoru can look inside her mind and see what she is really afraid of and basically talking about solitude and companionship, and Yoru is getting full frontal hit to the face, that what Asa is trying to convey to her.

Even if Asa doesn’t say this directly with words, Yoru knows what Asa is thinking, we have already seen hints of this in previous chapters with the whole feeling of love towards Denji, and even Yoru herself states that she can’t believe that she is feeling some form of emotion towards this boy.

So everything that is going on is very clear that Yoru is in her own way caring about Asa, and once again, this is the character drama I was talking about, because I feel like eventually as the series progresses, there is gonna become a point in the story, maybe not to defeat Chainsaw Man, but one of these two have to sacrifice their very selves to become a weapon for one of the other.

We have seen Asa demonstrates that she is capable of making weapons and obviously Yoru is since they share bodies.

Some part of the recent chapter also proves that there are multiple devils in the Chainsaw Man verse that literally have the same abilities, just under a different name, and I find this incredibly interesting, it finally ends the debate and discussion that has been within the Chainsaw Man community for a very long time.
