BTS member Jungkook has made history with his solo track “Seven,” earning a prestigious ‘Gold’ certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
The certification comes after the track surpassed 400,000 units sold in the UK, marking it as the first-ever K-pop solo debut track to achieve this honor.
The BRIT Certified awards are based on album and single sales in the UK, and Jungkook has previously received Silver certifications for multiple works, including “Standing Next to You,” “Seven,” “3D,” “Left and Right,” and “GOLDEN.” With these certifications, Jungkook now holds the record for the most Silver-certified singles by a K-pop solo artist.

Also, GOLDEN was the first K-pop solo album to receive a Silver certification in the BRIT Certified Albums category.
“Seven” debuted at No. 3 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 and remained on the chart for 14 consecutive weeks, marking the longest run for any K-pop solo track.
Jungkook also achieved a historic feat by charting four songs simultaneously (“Standing Next to You,” “Seven,” “3D,” and “TOO MUCH”) for two consecutive weeks on the UK Top 100.
In addition to these accolades, the official music video for “Seven” recently surpassed 500 million views on YouTube, further cementing the track’s global success.
