Nothing cracks us up more than a good comedy manga with its hilarious scenarios and unpredictably comic characters. It never fails to make us laugh, sometimes with belly-aching effects. A good comedy manga has the knack for making us feel better instantly as we read about humorous instances that make up the days of our favorite protagonists and side characters.
Arifureta Gakuen De Sekai Saikyou is a comedic spin-off of the original light novel and it has gathered quite a lot of fan following making it a success. It features Yue and Hajime just like the original story but with widely different roles and personas. The spin-off is written and illustrated by Mori Misaki, a different author from the one who wrote the original.
In the original story, Hajime Nagumo is a high schooler who is also a victim of bullying by his classmates. One day, the entire class is transported to a magical world, and everyone gets a cool power of their own. But Hajime’s superpower is the most useless and basic one.
However, he becomes stronger and saves the powerful vampire Yue who was imprisoned by her uncle, and meets others along the way. The spin-off, on the other hand, shows Hajime as a ‘special student’ who comes to join the academy of magic, Tortus.
In this story, Yue the vampire is a teacher and she is dreading the entrance ceremony as she is too lazy and sleepy to go out in public. But forced by Chairwoman Tio (who was a perverted dragon in the original), she makes her way outside to greet the special students who are joining the academy.
But things didn’t go as planned, because the moment Yue set her eyes on Hajime, she falls deeply in love with him and asked him to marry her on the spot. And Hajime agreed, on the spot.

Arifureta Gakuen De Sekai Saikyou Chapter 13 Recap
Chapter 13 is titled, ” The Dark Days Of The Apostles (2)”. Yue hands over the marriage registration certificate to sister Nointo and suddenly, tears spring up in the sister’s eyes. The sister feels sad because she never got to experience the happiness and contentment that Yue and Hajime are experiencing.
She tells that whenever someone hands her a marriage certificate, she feels a deep hole in her heart and asks herself the purpose of her life. She explains that she is the ninth child of the Seraphim Sisters and addresses her boss in slanderous terms telling that he asks illogical and retarded requests of them.
This leads to them being abusively overworked at all times. This was the reason why Sister Nointo was elated when she got a white-collar job at the academy but unfortunately, the academy turned out to be a warzone too. She hopes that a student with a promising future falls for her and takes her away from her troubles.
Just then, Sister Hearst comes in and announces that she was given a three-day vacation. Sister Nointo was so unfamiliar with vacations that she asked Sister Hearst if the word vacation was some sort of foreign dialect. Sister Hearst explains that because she is always swamped with work, she doesn’t know what to do during her vacation.
The two sisters talk about their lost youth and their never-ending workload which was enough to make Yue and Hajime beg them to stop as they were feeling bad for them. Hajime tells them that he has some stress-relieving artifacts for them and Yue promises to raise an appeal for labor improvement.
