While Ahsoka, Sabine, and Bridger finally reunite on the barren planet, Grand Admiral Thrawn’s all set to leave Peridea and begin his villainous schemes. Dave Filoni’s Ahsoka is a Star Wars family mini-series that has been airing since August 2023.
The storyline of Ahsoka centers on Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice, Ahsoka Tano, who now hopes to maintain whatever peace remains in the galaxy after the fall of the empire. Up until now, we’ve seen Ahsoka trying to locate Thrawn, a potential threat to future peace.
When she finally gets ahold of the map of his location, Skoll and Hati, two mercenaries, take it away and join forces with Elsbeth to find Thrawn.
The first season of Ahsoka seems to be focusing more on laying down the foundation for future installments, as we’re almost at the end, and there are still so many things that need explaining.
Star Wars: Ahsoka stars Rosario Dawson in the role of strong former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, while Natasha Bordizzo plays Sabine and Mary Winstead plays Hera Syndulla.
Skoll and Hati are portrayed by Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno, while their former partner, Elsbeth, is played by Diana Lee Inosanto. The House of Cards actor Larks Mikkelsen plays Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Ahsoka Episode 7: Recap
The penultimate episode of Ahsoka showed the Jedi finally reaching Peridea after somehow dodging the traps set by Thrawn to destroy them.
Meanwhile, on Coruscant, Senator Xiono shows his objection to Syndulla’s claims that Thrawn is still alive and her plan of finding him with the help of Ahsoka and the others.
Just before things get worse for Syndulla, C-3PO arrives and lets everyone know that Leia Organa has already provided authorization for Syndulla’s mission. This wasn’t true, but it helped Syndulla escape the disciplinary hearing and focus on the real threat.
The Purrgils started slowing down as they were now near Peridea. After exiting Hyperspace, however, the Purrgils and Ahsoka’s ship are caught up in minefield explosions that were set by Thrawn’s men. They try to hide in a debris field, but with the help of the Grand Mothers, Thrawn pinpoints Ahsoka’s location.
Skoll and Hati see that Wren and Bridger have reunited, so they inform Thrawn about it. However, Baylan deviates from their original plan and leaves the killing task for Shin.
The mercenaries separate, and Shin gets involved in a fight with Sabine and Ezra. As Ahsoka lands on Peridea, she is confronted by Skoll, but instead of fighting him, Ahsoka just leaves to save Wren and the others.
Seeing Ahsoka intervene in the fight between Shin and Wren causes Thrawn to focus on his real priority, which is to leave this galaxy right when the cargo transfer is complete. Ahsoka, Wren, and the others finally assemble at one place again, while Thrawn is going to do his best to leave Peridea.
Ahsoka Episode 8: Release Date
The final episode 8 of Star Wars: Ahsoka will be airing on October 3rd, 2023. The first season of Ahsoka usually came out with new episodes on Tuesdays, with each of these lasting for a total of 46-47 minutes.
Ahsoka Episode 8: Preview
Although this is a fan-made trailer, Ahsoka’s final episode will likely end in a confrontation of some sort between Ahsoka and Thrawn. The Grand Admiral is making sure not to undermine Ahsoka’s abilities; after all, she’s Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice.
While killing Ahsoka and the other Jedi is something Thrawn would surely like, his main priority remains leaving Peridea and going back to his original galaxy. If Ahsoka and the others try to stop Thrawn’s plans, there’s going to be an intense fight between the Jedi and Thrawn’s men. Baylan Skoll could potentially start bringing his plans to light in the 2nd season of Ahsoka.
