Dave Filoni’s Star Wars spin-off, Ahsoka, undeniably has one of the best visual effects seen in the franchise. The producers just seem to be getting better at making these aliens and planets look realistic, but the location in the recent Episode 6 “Far, Far Away” of Ahsoka, stood out the most.
After Morgan Elsbeth takes the mercenaries with her to find Admiral Thrawn, they land on a barren, desolate planet called Peridea. While some scenes featured the emptiness and inhabitable nature of Peridea, we were also able to see the Great Mothers’ Tower, where Thrawn lands with his ship.
Ahsoka, also called Star Wars: Ahsoka stars Rosario Dawson in the main role and centers around Ahsoka trying to prevent Admiral Thrawn from ruining whatever peace remains in the galaxy. As the show goes on, we are introduced to several stunning planets and realistic species of aliens from other galaxies.
The Mandalorian, which is where we see Ahsoka being featured previously, also had great visuals along with an intriguing storyline. Ahsoka takes most of the filming styles from The Mandalorian, although both of them have different cinematographers. Ahsoka has Eric Steelberg and Quyen Tran designing all their filming styles.
Ahsoka Episode 6: What Happens In The Episode?
Episode 6 of Ahsoka begins with Morgan Elsbeth arriving at Peridea along with Skoll and Hati. This was the land of Dathomiri, which is where Elsbeth was raised. There, they meet up with the Grand Mothers, a trio of Nightsisters that have chosen to accompany Thrawn on his mission.
Skoll promises Wren that he’ll help her in finding Bridger, who was also supposedly stranded on Peridea. Thrawn lets Wren go out and find Bridger, but his evil plan also involves Skoll killing Wren and Bridger once they reunite.
While Wren leaves to find Bridger, she meets with the native Noti of the dark, grey planet. The mercenaries follow her, and Skull feels the planet is filled with dark and powerful energy. Peridea holds a mysterious power that Skoll hopes he can use to his advantage in the future.
Ahsoka and Huyang use a Purrgil to come to Peridea, and the Great Mothers sense it. Once they inform Thrawn about Ahsoka’s (who was presumed dead by Morgan) arrival, he starts to gather information so he can handle any possible battles between them.
