The Summer I Turned Pretty dropped out just recently for the young adult fans, and we have never ever been happier. This is yet another one of Jenny Han’s classic teenager tales. The show explores a character named Belly, who has recently had a glow-up and is now getting attention from left to right. Belly is 15 years in age and lives with her divorced mom Laurel and an older brother Kevin. Jenny Han generally puts American-Korean characters in the protagonist role of her stories. This makes it a friendly mix between the two cultures and even more fun to watch. With the rising popularity of Korean shows, The Summer I Turned Pretty gives us a healthy dose of a modernized Korean show of American actors.
A season 2 for the show has also been finalized. This means we will get even more insights into the relationship between Conrad and Belly. The summer vacation this year at the beach house has already been so chaotic. With Belly debuting herself in the society and the children finding out about how Susannah is dying of cancer, it is all hanging in the middle of what we will have next.
Well, Susannah surely has agreed to get treatment for her cancer, and this might mean that his life will be saved. It was all because Jeremiah and Conrad asked their mum to do, which ultimately moved her. In the end, we watched Conrad and Belly share a kiss. This means the two are officiating their relationship. Jenny Han has always worked wonders with such novels. Previously, the trilogy of All the Boys I’ve Loved Before starring Lana Condor rocks Netflix and all the fans. We were moved by how cute Peter Kavinsky was.
