Recognized as one of the successful K-Pop artists, Hyuna has become one of the global K-Pop personalities. She has ventured into several areas throughout her music career, and that has made her a former part of many K-Pop groups. Wonder Girls (2007)
Hyuna debuted in the music industry with the girl group “Wonder Girls” operating under JYP Entertainment. The group debuted on February 13, 2007, with the release of their first mini-album titled “The Wonder Begins”.
Though, she has to leave the group in the same year in the month of July due to some health concerns.
4minute (2009 – 2016)
Operating under Cube Entertainment, Hyuna was revealed as the first member of the girl group “4minute” on May 14, 2009. The official debut of the group was with their first digital single titled “Hot Issue” on June 15, 2009. It wasn’t long before the girl group became one of the most popular ones in the country.
Though on June 13, 2016, the news about the group’s disbandment took over the media. The official announcement was made by Cube Entertainment after all the members, excluding Hyuna, decided not to renew their contracts with the company.
4Tomorrow (2009)
Hyuna made her debut with this new girl group on October 7, 2009, with the group’s single titled “Tomorrow”. This group was a result of the collaboration between Nega Network, Pledis Entertainment, DSP Media, and Cube Entertainment, and every profit that the group generated was donated to charity.
Apart from Hyuna, the group consisted of three other members named Gain, UEE, and Seungyeon.

Trouble Maker (2011 – 2018)
On November 24, 2011, Hyuna became part of a new co-ed duo named “Trouble Maker”. Alongside Jang Hyunseung, the duo released their debut self-titled mini-album on December 1, 2011.
Triple H (2017 – 2018)
Alongside PENTAGON members Hui and E’Dawn, Hyuna made her debut with the co-ed sub-unit “Triple H” on May 1, 2017. Their mini-album titled “199X” was released on the same day.
Solo (2010)
Apart from her several group activities, Hyuna has also given many stunning and amazing solo performances and releases. She made her solo debut on January 4, 2010, with her first single titled “Change” which bagged the second position on Gaon Digital Chart.
In the year 2011, she released “Bubble Pop!” her first EP. Its title track sold more than three million digital copies making her the first female K-Pop solo artist to reach 100 million views on an MV on YouTube.
Next year, she was seen in the duet rendition of PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and in the same year, she released her second EP titled “Melting” which gave “Ice Cream,” the number-one single. Successful singles like “Red” and “Roll Deep” were the result of her two EPs titled “A Talk” and “A+”.
In the year 2016, she released “A’wesome” her fifth EP, which paved the way for her first concert tour, “The Queen’s Back”. The following year, her sixth EP “Following” successfully made all the media headlines about it.
Hyuna: A Bit About Her Personal Life
Hyuna’s relationship with E’Dawn was revealed on August 2, 2018. The couple got engaged on February 3, 2022.
When their relationship was announced, Cube Entertainment ended up terminating both artists’ contracts, reasoning “lack of trust”. After their departure from the entertainment company, they both were announced to be part of PSY’s new agency “P Nation” on January 27, 2019.
On November 5, 2019, Hyuna released “Flower Shower,” which was also her first release under the agency. Later after coming back from a hiatus, Hyuna released her seventh mini-album named “I’m Not Cool” on January 21, 2021.
