It seems that 2022 is the year of major comebacks. From BTS to Yoon Ji Sung, everyone we know is making a huge comeback. One of the major girl groups that are all set to make a comeback is woo!ah!. The group includes five members – Nana, Wooyeon, Sora, Lucy, and Minseo. Fans are super excited for woo!ah! ‘s comeback. woo!ah! debuted in the year 2020, with their 1st Single Album “Exclamation,” but the mv for “Exclamation” was delayed to May 15, 2020.
woo!ah! was produced by NV Entertainment’s producer Han Ji Seok and CEO Kim Kyu Sang. The members of woo!ah! trained under SM Entertainment. Both Han Ji Seok and Kim Kyu Sang have a lot of experience in the music industry, wherein the former has worked with SM Entertainment and Kakao M, while Kim is a creative director and has produced and directed numerous artists representing Korea. Many people don’t know this, but woo!ah! consisted of six members, but one of the members, Songyee, was revealed to leave the group owing to some personal reasons. Songyee left woo!ah! in August of 2020, and a couple of months later, woo!ah! released another extended play, Qurious, and also held a press release along with a showcase for their extended play.

woo!ah! Comeback Has Been Confirmed
Last month, on May 13, 2022, Korean Standard Time, woo!ah! stated that they are all set to make their comeback. woo!ah!’s comeback will be after a hiatus of five months. Five months ago, woo!ah! released their first-ever digital single, “Catch the Stars.” According to woo!ah!’s label, “Catch the Stars” is all about showcasing the members’ charm, aegyo, and lighter side, which will inevitably produce a lot of admiration amongst the people by appealing to a wide group of people across various demographics.
When they debuted in May of 2020, they faced a lot of positive feedback. Therefore, now, they are revealing that they are all set to make their comeback just on the heels of their second anniversary. woo!ah! ‘s members Nana, Wooyeon, Sora, Lucy, and Minseo, posted a handwritten letter/card on their social media for their fans.

Hailed as the “Gen Z Icon” group, woo!ah! and NV Entertainment released a video on January 1, 2022 greeting and thanking their fans for their continued support before the release of their first ever digital single – “Catch the Stars.” woo!ah! greeted their fans in the costume, and showed off their cute side, which was very well-received by their fans.
Nana, the leader of woo!ah! was very grateful for the continuous outpouring of support of Wow! (their fan group). She added that through their fan group’s support, woo!ah! was able to prosper so beautifully. 2021 has now passed, and she called for a super successful and fun-filled upcoming year of 2022.
Sora continued this tirade of gratitude and stated that she wanted to meet all her friends and her fan group, WOW! in order to show them all the hard work they have been putting in recently. She is grateful and happy every day owing to the existence of her fans. On the other hand, Minseo kept it short and sweet, but it does not mean that she is any less devoted to her fans – she vowed to put her best foot forward in order to show her gratitude to her fans.
Lucy added that she was looking forward to the release of their first-ever digital single since it was a ray of bright and shining light since it is all about the erase the hard time people had over the pandemic. Like a beam of bright light, “Catch the Stars” is all about dealing with the darkness head-on and addressing it. Finally, Nana added that she hoped that 2022 was fun, and it erases all the things that happened last year. Instead of being a gloomy and glum year, 2022 is all about new beginnings which make people feel better.
