The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 8 Review
We were expecting The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 8 to be pretty big when Grace claimed that the mess they are in is bigger than all of them. But no, the finale of The Flight Attendant Season 2 kinda rushes all the storylines that were built for the season. Well, the whole season was pretty exciting. Especially the previous episode, but the finale doesn’t deliver the engaging end we were expecting.
The story of Cassie’s doppelganger was one of the centerpieces this season. It wasn’t till the seventh episode we found who was behind this. Grace as a doppelganger was okay. We can accept that creators tried to move us around. But Episode 8 teased another doppelganger. We were hoping this storyline to build up until the final moments of the episode.
Somehow the show wraps up the story quickly in the first half of the finale. Dot was definitely one of the obvious suspects but we were also expecting a stronger reason for her to frame Cassie. Probably more than the cases, it was all about Cassie rediscovering herself and accepting herself.
Lastly, the minor plot of Megan too wrapped up way too quickly without any significant developments. We saw Esteban and Gabrielle as major players this season but they didn’t even make it to the finale. Also for some reason, Jenny’s arc which could have tied up with the main plot also ended up being a filler bringing Feliks on screen for a few minutes.
