Queendom 2 Episode 6 is going to be on the screens really soon. The Mnet show is one of the popular South Korean music reality shows around the globe and therefore the media’s spotlight is also on the same.
This brand-new season of the show is being hosted by Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation and the contestants of the show are going to put up their best musical skills against each other. The show has witnessed an impressive viewership graph and reviews in all its previous five episodes. It is no surprise as the kind of fun it is showcasing has taken everyone on a completely different level.
Everyone out there is eager to know who will walk away with the winner’s crown on their head. The upcoming episode of the show is going to announce the winners from the previous fifth episode of the show. Therefore, let’s take a quick skim inside.
Queendom 2 Episode 6 Recap
The previous episode of the reality show aired on April 28, 2022. The fifth episode featured the six teams i.e., Hyolyn, VIVIZ, Kep1er, WJSN, Brave Girls, and LOONA. It was round three and they all competed for the position unit battle.
In this third round, each team has to submit members as the dance and vocal representatives. Based on that, there will be the formation of three dance units and three vocal units exclusively for the show and the points up for grabs will be 5,000.
The teams were divided into their respective vocal and dance teams by the representatives during their first workshop. The vocal team included Hyolyn, VIVIZ’s Eunha, WJSN’s Yeonjung and SOobin, Kep1er’s Youngeun and Chaehyun, Brave Girls’ Minyoung, LOONA’s Chuu, Kim Lip, Haseul, and Jinsol.
While, Hyolyn, VIVIZ’s SinB and Umji, Kep1er’s Hikaru, Xiaoting, and Dayeon, WJSN’s Eunseo and Yeorum, LOONA’s Yves, Olivia Hye, Choerry, and Heejin, and Brave Girls’ Eunji were put into the dance unit by the representatives.
Further, the units had to decide between three songs and each team was allowed to pick a song of their choice and then create a unit with a different team. The process for the same started with the lowest ranking team from the combined rankings of Rounds 1 and 2. Though if multiple teams want one song, then the team with the lowest ranking will automatically be pushed out.
Ranking sixth in Round 1, LOONA’s dance unit got to choose their song first. The track “Purr” was selected by both LOONA and Kep1er while “I’m Greedy” was chosen by Brave Girl’s Eunji.
Though, LOONA was pushed out of the line as VIVIZ too chose “Purr”. After this LOONA decided to go ahead with “KA BOOM” and again ended up being pushed out as the song was also chosen by WJSN and Hyolyn. In the end, they chose “I’m Greedy” as their final track.
Moreover, the fact that Hyolyn is the one solo contestant on the show makes her part of both the vocal and dance units. In the vocal unit, she was chosen as the member others want to team up with. She eventually joined hands with Brave Girls’ Minyoung reasoning that they were of the same age. The powerful duo will be performing Bolbbalgan4’s “To My Youth”.
WJSN teamed up with VIVIZ’s Eunha and decided to go ahead with the track by Baek Yerin “Across the Universe”. On the other hand, LOONA and Kep1er chose EXO’s “Don’t Go”.
Queendom 2 episode 6 is going to announce the winners and will also feature the performances of the dance units with mentoring by “Street Woman Fighter” dancers LACHICA, PROWDMON’s Monika, HolyBang’s Hertz.

Queendom 2 Episode 6 Release Date
Queendom 2 Episode 6 will release on May 5, 2022, at 9:20 PM KST. The show has a total of ten episodes and each of them has a running duration of 2 hours. The first episode of the show aired on March 31, 2022, and if the original release schedule is followed then the final episode of the show will air on June 2, 2022. New episodes of the show are released every Thursday.
