Boris Becker is a German actor who was born in the German town of Leimen. Karl-Heinz Becker’s father, an architect, founded a tennis center in Leimen, where he started his professional career. In 1974, Becker started training at the TC tennis club with Boris Breskvar. By 1977, he had joined the junior squad of the Baden Tennis Association. He was named to the top young team by Richard Schönborn. According to Schönborn, Becker’s coaching cost the German Tennis Federation about 1.3 million DM. Becker made his pro debut in 1984, under the tutelage of a Romanian-born coach and management.
