Channing Tatum is an American actor and producer, born on April 26th, 1980. He made his film debut in the drama film Coach Carter. His breakthrough role, which introduced him to a wider audience, was in the dance film Step Up, which premiered in 2006. He also starred in the action-comedy movie 21 Jump Street and its sequel 22 Jump Street, which premiered in 2014. He is known for his leading role in Magic Mike and its sequel Magic Mike XXL, which he produced. He has also played the character Duke in the action movie G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra, which premiered in 2009, and its sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which premiered in 2013.
Some of his other movies include She’s The Man, The Dilemma, White House Down, Foxcatcher, The Hateful Eight, Hail, Caesar!, and Logan Lucky. He is the son of Kay Tatum, an airline worker, and Glenn Tatum, who worked in construction, and was born in Cullman, Alabama.

Yet another collaboration with Soderbergh, Logan Lucky is a fun Heist comedy in which Tatum plays a blue-collar man who teams up with his disabled veteran brother, played by Adam Driver, and an imprisoned convict, played by Daniel Craig, to pull off a robbery at a NASCAR event. Critics mostly agreed that the movie is fast-paced and a lot of fun to watch from the beginning to the end. 5) Haywire (2011)
This movie is Tatum’s first of many collaborations with Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh. 1) The Hateful Eight (2015)
Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight is an American revisionist western film, in which Tatum had a small yet pivotal role as part of an ensemble cast. The film centers around a group of strangers who find themselves trapped in a small cabin during a blizzard. The bodies begin to pile up, as the tension rises. In this bloody and intense western, Tatum reunites with Samuel L. Jackson, after his first movie, Coach Carter, and performs with the likes of Jennifer Jason Leigh and Kurt Russell. It is another riveting entry into Tatum’s resume, though it is not as grand as some of Tarantino’s other work.
