Cillian Murphy is an actor of Irish origin. He was born on May 25th, 1976, in Douglas, Cork. He was initially the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter of a rock band called The Sons of Mr. Green Genes. He began acting on stage and in short and independent films after turning down a record deal in the late 90s.
