This virus converted humans into dead bodies (kabane). These dead bodies or corpses are very aggressive, and they cannot die until their heart, which is protected by an iron cage, can be shattered, broken, or finished.

One can view the anime from Super Channel and Animals Asia. The premise of the show revolves around two teen characters. The first character is Simon, and Kamina is the other character.
They both reside in a subterranean Village and also dream of living on the surface. In order to reach the surface, they both used Lagaann. As soon as they reached the surface, they began fighting humans against the army of Lord Genome.
