After Kafka, it will be Mina’s turn to showcase her speciality against No. 9 in Kaiju No. 8 Chapter 112. The soft-headed protagonist is giving his all against the monster that could be the end of civilization. However, Kafka’s last-minute technique helped them in a clutch and humanity has a better chance thanks to his and Mina’s teamwork.
Mina wasn’t very pleased with how things were going though as she felt helpless in letting Kafka go berserk. She remembered his gentle and smiling face when he pleaded with her to assist him in the fight against the morphed Kaiju. As for Kafka and his transformation, everyone was surprised to see the thing that the man before had become.
Back at headquarters, one of the chiefs recalled their earlier fight with the Kaiju and was left speechless. Whatever may be the reception on the human side, Kafka had brought them the edge they needed to win the battle. However, the technique isn’t all that strong and has hard limitations that would come at a great cost to everyone.
If anything, Kafka had to train with Narumi in the past to make sure he could get the most out of his berserk form. The training lent him only a minute of control on the form before he lost control of himself. Luckily for him, Mina’s weapon arrived there on time and they had a better chance against the monster in front of them with it.
