In this episode of Power Book IV: Force, we return to the gritty world reminiscent of the original Power series. Tariq and Brayden, tired of college life, decide to go back into the drug game. But re-entry isn’t easy.
They need a supplier who trusts them, and the famous St. Patrick name holds little weight. Enter Zion, a powerful drug dealer, but he’s cautious of these young newcomers. To prove their worth, Tariq cleverly offers to solve one of Zion’s problems, earning him a chance.
Trust is a fragile thing. Tariq and Brayden agree to be honest with each other, knowing their success hinges on open communication. Tariq also utilizes old connections. He manipulates Effie, someone Zion knows, to cause trouble for Zion’s rivals, The Nomads. This risky move could give them an edge. However, Effie’s past unreliability casts a shadow of doubt.
Meanwhile, the Tejada family implodes. Flashbacks reveal Monet’s questionable parenting choices, which explain the current dysfunction of her children, Cane, Dru, and Diana. The siblings are at war, with Cane and Monet on one side and Dru and Diana on the other.
Monet, grappling with a loss of control, wonders if anyone can be trusted. But amidst this family chaos, Tariq remains a looming threat. His thirst for revenge simmers beneath the surface, a constant reminder that danger still lurks.
