VH1, Angela Yee, and Jennifer Williams will soon be releasing a short documentary miniseries about how Jennifer Williams was scammed by her former romantic partner in “My True Scam Story”, a docuseries aimed at empowering women and changing how the public sees Williams after the story broke out calling her all sorts of names for not realizing she was being scammed.
This docuseries goes in line with many of the true life stories that VH1 is now telling in their new slew of shows for this new upcoming season. Ahead of its premiere, we prepared for you all the details you need to have so you will be well on your way as you sit down to watch this incredible story from a different perspective.

My True Scam Story is a documentary executively produced by Angela Yee and stars Jennifer Williams on VH1 about a situation that Williams had faced because she was scammed on social media, facing criticism, blame, and shame for not having the intelligence to notice that she was being duped.
So, Jennifer Williams decided to tell her story, and this has led to a change in how the public perceives her financial mishaps. Jennifer Williams will tell us her side of the story. We’ll see how everyone has been, in one way or another, duped or scammed at some moment in their lives, and she will go even further when she addresses how people within the Black community handle the shame of being deceived.
With this documentary, Jenniffer tells how her former boyfriend Aaron Nichols, a man who had multiple aliases, stole her car, but the man went even further when he scammed his family, including his own dad, a man struggling with mental illness, and a cousin.
