The Worst of Evil Episode Recap
The previous episode of The Worst of Evil sees a temporary halt in the illegal business owing to Gi-Chul’s frequent encounters with the police. As he gets warned about Jun-Mo’s potential conflicts at the police station due to the charges against him, Gi-Cheul seeks help and investigates all the suspicions.
Jun-Mo seems to have lost his mind, making Min-Goo angry at him. This led to Min-Goo beating him until he bleeds. The Superintendent of Police accuses Min-Goo and his seniors of police brutality and saves Jun-Mo from harm.
They discuss their next move for the Chinese client. Gi-Cheul suggests that Jun-Mo takes the lead. Hee-Sung is surprised by Gi-Cheul’s trust in the new member and supports Jong-Ryul when he insists that he should handle the trade.
On the other hand, Jun-Mo meets with Chang-Sik and Do-Hyung to discuss the new lead in the case. He reveals Hae-Ryeon’s involvement in the drug cartel and advises the police to take care of it. Jung-Bae releases a huge amount of money to pay Gi-Cheul’s informant. He also investigates Eui-Jeong’s connection with Seung-Ho. Hae-Ryeon seduces Jun-Mo in an attempt to make him trust her.
Jun-Mo promises to make sure the deal with the Chinese client goes well. Jong-Ryul puts Jung-Bae to the last breath in a brutal fight. Gi-Cheul organizes a memorial for Eui-Jeong’s mother and her old friends and later learns that Jung-Bae was trying to find a connection between Eui-Jeong and Seung-Ho.
Meanwhile, the cops discover that Gi-Cheul’s informant was looking into Seung-Ho’s childhood. The informant accuses Jun-Mo of lying to Gi-Cheul, but Jun-Mo chases after him.
