In the 2023 Amazing Race, Australia: Celebrity Edition, eleven fiercely competitive teams will compete in a cross-continental race for a whopping A$100,000 that will go to their charity of choice. Enter a fast-paced adventure filled with unexpected turns, limited resources, and relentless tests of cunning and tenacity.
Under the guidance of the charismatic Beau Ryan, the race gets underway in Delhi, India’s ancient quarter, which includes Sunder Nursery, Chandni Chowk, and the Royal Palace Hotel. But that’s just the beginning. The second leg of the journey gets underway right away.
Teams remain in India throughout this phase, and pit stops are made at the famed Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Agra, the crowded Interstate Bus Terminal, and the serene Mehtab Bagh.
Hold onto your hats, too, for exciting journeys across Borneo, Malaysia, and Cambodia are in store, with visits to famous sites like Kuala Lumpur, George Town, and Penang’s Chowrasta Market.
Eleven teams in the Beau Ryan-hosted competition are made up of model Alli Simpson and her mother, Angie. Rebecca Judd, a presenter and model, and Kate. Ben Gillies, a musician, and Melbourne real housewife Jackie Gillies. David Simpson, a comedian, and Bow Simpson, a partner.
Darren McMullen, a comedian, and Tristan Doughan, his partner. Emma Watkins, a child performer, and her girlfriend, Hayley Watkins. George Mladenov, an Australian Survivor contestant, and his partner Pamela Mladenov. Along with TV host Grant Denyer and his wife, Cheryl Denyer, they were Too Hot To Handle participants Harry Jowsey and Teddy Briggs.
