The Changeling Season 1 Episode 1, 2, & 3 Recap
In Season 1 Episode 1 of The Changeling, we are introduced to Apollo Kagwa, a second-hand bookseller from Queens who falls in love with and marries a librarian called Emma. It concludes with the birth of their first child, which triggers a chain reaction of unfortunate events.
Being a new parent can be extremely exhausting, with many women getting postpartum depression, which is unhealthy for the mother and the child. At first, everybody in Apollo and Emma’s life attributes Emma’s strange behavior to postpartum depression.
But there is something far more sinister behind Emma’s behavior, and to make matters worse, she starts receiving strange texts. The second episode focuses on the strange events in Emma’s life.
In the third and fourth episodes, Apollo deals with the aftermath of his wife’s disappearance. He decides to sell his most valuable book. Apollo sells the book to William Wheeler, who has some promising news.
