Tokio informed Kanata it was raining outside, so they needed to vamoose. Tokio was annoyed at their old man because he told them it would rain. Tokio told everyone to get out of there before they got contaminated.
Mouton asked Tokio if no one was replying to him. Tokio was wondering if the old man had gone inside to find something for his collection. Tokio asked Kanata what he was doing in there.
Kanata told him he had found something and asked him to take a look at it. Tokio told Kanata it was a magus, but he had never seen something of that design before; he was wondering if it was combat type.
Kanata suggested it was risky to leave her all the way there, but Tokio told him it looked busted. But Kanata argued that she looked okay externally. Tokio asked Mouton to send the coffin; Tokio knew tripods would come out in the rain just as he thought.
The tripods were there to welcome them, and Tokio told Kanata to go back to the carrier. But Kanata was carrying the girl, and Tokio told him that even if he brought that thing home, there was no surety he could fix it. Synduality Episode 1 Recap
Kanata had already made up his mind, so Tokio decided to cover for him. Kanata got inside and was all ready to start the carrier when Mouton informed Tokio that the homing machine gun was out of ammunition.
Tokio asked him if they had any spares, and Kanata informed him that was all they had. Kanata asked Tokio if he was planning to draw them back to Rock Town.
Tokio told him that would make him Mr. Popular again, and Kanata reminded him that would get them kicked out. But Tokio did not mind moving to a bigger nest.
The tripods began to attack Tokio’s carriage; he could not let that happen, so he decided to get rid of them all at once. With Mouton’s help, Tokio and Kanata got rid of the tripods and went back home.
Kanata wanted to fix the magus, but he could not find out how to start; Ange and Ellie came up to check on Kanata and found the naked Magus inside his room.
Ellie got heartbroken, and Ange tried to keep her company while she cried about losing Kanata to a Magus. After the long hibernation, the Magus finally woke up, and Kanata tried to make her get used to her environment.
The Magus had no recollection of her memories and could barely function, so Kanata took the Magus to Maria so she could fix it. But Maria could not find out what the issue was with the Magus before they could explore her internally.
Kanata got an e-alert because the swarm of Enders was targeting Rock Town. The Magus helped out Kanata in fighting the Enders, and all the other drifters also fought back and managed to protect Rock Town.
