Aespa is all set for their comeback almost after a year. SM Entertainment confirmed Aespa’s 2023 comeback on 14 April. The Aespa girls will be making their first comeback on 8 May 2023 after ten months. Their last album was “Girls,” which was released on 8 July 2022. Aespa’s latest album is titled “My World.” From the teaser of the album released it was revealed the album’s theme is “A Strange Phenomenon.” The concept pictures released on 24 April were also titled “A Strange Phenomenon.”
Aespa is SM’s one of the gem Kpop groups. From achieving the title of achieving best-selling album in a week by a female group to becoming the first SM artist to perform at Coachella 2022, the Aespa Girls have become a sensational 4th generation girl group. The group was originally going to come back in February 2023, but due to internal issues, their comeback was delayed. With the news of their comeback in May 2023, Aespa fans “MYs” were filled with the excitement of getting new songs after a wait of 10 months. However, the group begin their first tour, “SYNK: HYPER LINE,” in February 2023.

Tracklist of “My World”
Aespa’s third mini album, “My World,” is set to release on 8 May. The tracklist and the concept photo of the album are released on 24 April. The album will feature a total of six tracks. The tracks are “Welcome to My World”, “Spicy”, “Salty & Sweet”, “Thirsty”, “I’m Unhappy” and “Till We Meet Again”. The pre-single track “Welcome to My World” is set to release on 5 May 2023 and the mini album will release on 8 May 2023.

The first set of concept photos was released on 17 April with pre-orders of the album. The concept was like a poster where the album’s name, “My World,” was seen like a balloon in the sky, giving a strange phenomenon vibe.

At the same, the teaser of the album was released. The teaser was titled an “INTRO” TO “My World”.

Following the teaser release, members’ concept pictures were released the next day. The concept photos gave off a dreamy and majestic vibe.

On 24 April, along with the tracklist of the albums, a new set of concept photos was released. But for this set, only Ningning and Giselle concepts were released on 24 April. For the rest members, they are set to release on the next day. This new set of photos was titled “A Strange Phenomenon”.

Achieved a million Pre-orders within a week.
Aespa’s new album “My World” pre-orders exceeds 152.24 million copies to be sold within a week. According to SM Entertainment Aespa’s new mini album “My World” recorded a total of 152.2 million pre-orders, marking the second consecutive million-seller mark within a week of the start of pre-sales. Aespa has become a million-seller twice in a row.

About Aespa
Aespa is a four-member K-pop girl group under SM Entertainment. The group consists of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ning Ning. The group debuted on 17 November 2020 with the digital single “Black Mamba” which was a major hit. On 2 June 2022, it was announced that Aespa signed with Warner Records for global promotions, for which they made their debut with their first English digital song, “Dreams Comes True”. The group’s overall concept is Hybrid AI. The group members were first revealed as AI characters and later real-life members were revealed as representing the AI characters.
This is what makes Aespa more special than other girl groups. Aespa’s second single after the debut was “Next Level” released on 17 May 2021.
