The Storyline:
The series is a great mix of comedy, drama, and action. It depicts a love spark that is blossoming between Kang Mo Yeon, a cardiac surgeon in Haesung Hospital, who exudes confidence and beauty, and Yoo Shi Jin, the captain and team leader of the Alpha Team, who cares more about saving everyone in need than he does about protecting his country, enters it.
She believes that ability supersedes relationships and isn’t afraid to stand up to her shortcomings. Her life is irrevocably changed when she meets Captain Yoo Shi Jin. A hypothetical elite special forces team from the 707th Special Mission Battalion in South Korea, led by its captain. He joined the military like his father, a retired sergeant major, and earned the top honors at the Korea Military Academy.
Si-jin has little interest in the politics of war and is more concerned with helping those in need, defending his nation, and upholding his men’s honor—even if doing so necessitates questioning his superiors’ orders.
At first sight, he falls in love with Mo-Yeon, but she rejects him three times as Mo-Yeon incorrectly concludes that Si Jin is a member of the thief’s criminal organization. With the aid of army physician Yoon Myung-Ju (Kim Ji-won), who turns out to be Mo-former Yeon’s medical school adversary, he establishes his identity.
Si-jin and Mo-Yeon start dating, but their dates frequently end in the middle because Si-jin is frequently called to duty. Si-jin is given the go-ahead to embark on a peacekeeping mission in the fictitious nation of Uruk.
Mo-Yeon is furious because she learned that a professorship had been given to a less qualified colleague who was related to the hospital administration rather than her. Dae-young, who is frequently stoic, gradually finds the strength to be more affectionate with Myung-ju after she almost dies in quarantine from the illness.

What Are Fans Reviews?
As we mentioned, the reviews of Descendants Of The Sun are mixed. Those who love watching a decent rom-com did enjoy the drama. However, since the plotline somehow lost its charms, many found the series on a bearable level. After all, it is a mixture of action, military, medical, and rom-com. Such varied genres in one drama need some exceptional writing. It would have been better if they had cut down unnecessary drag instead of pushing till 16 episodes. Nevertheless, Descendants Of The Sun got pretty good reviews on the home ground as well as on the international level.

Descendents of the Sun Review
Is it worth watching? The plot will hold your attention from the beginning to the end. It will undoubtedly rank among your top three all-time favorite dramas. The characters’ personalities are beyond astounding. A brave and humorous individual, Captain Yoo Shi-jin is willing to take on dangerous assignments to keep everyone safe. The show has received appreciation for its accurate and compassionate representation of soldiers and medical personnel and its universal themes of love, sacrifice, and duty.
One of the most recognizable parts of the automobile scene is where he doesn’t think twice about saving Miss Kang from a cliff’s edge. Yoo Shi-jin is the kind of man you want as your husband or boyfriend. Then moving on to Doctor Kang, who is equally as impressive in how she treats her patients and respects every person’s life, regardless of race or ethnicity.
The two major actors beautifully portrayed these amazing personalities. This show has a lot of happy, exciting, and simultaneously quite emotional moments. If you are reading this review right now, it is once more advised that you watch it. Be prepared to cry and laugh along with the show since it has everything that drama fans love: comedy, romance, and action!

The show’s two characters, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have great chemistry, and their romance is adorable and heartbreaking.
The drama’s outstanding cinematography and visual effects, as well as its breathtaking setting and exciting action sequences, add to the program’s overall appeal. Along with being memorable, the soundtrack features several tracks that are still played today.
