Netflix Movie White Noise Filming Locations
Many opening shots were filmed in a small town located northwest of Ohio. There were many stores alongside Herrick and Main St. in Wellington’s center. These stores were given 1980s-era signage, while Addie’s Antiques, located at East Herrick Road, was transformed into Wizard Records for the movie.
The film crew also used locations near South Cedar and Forest Roads in Oberlin to shoot a few sequences. The team is said to have built a small, temporary addition closer to one of the houses in the neighborhood. The Wilker Building at Baldwin Wallace University, located on Eastland Road in Berea, is where the scene involving Adam Driver’s role in a chemical laboratory was filmed.
Also, the Bedford Meadowbrook Market Square was where the filmmaking crew pitched their tents and shot some of the movie’s exterior and interior sequences. The production crew visited several additional locales in Ohio for shooting.
The College of Akron at 302 East Buchtel Avenue, the University of Wooster at Beall Avenue in Wooster, the Andrews Osborne Institute of Education at Willoughby, Kent State University on East Summit Street in England, Hiram College at Garfield Street in Hiram, and Canton National Capital Catholic High School located on Tuscarawas West Street in Canton are just a few of the campuses that they made use of.
The San Francisco Bay, commonly known as the Bay Area, is a populated area in northern California that surrounds the San Francisco and Suisun Bay estuaries. That is also reportedly where the actors and crew of the movie “White Noise” set up camp. One of the main filming locations is in San Leandro, a town in Alameda County, California.
Sandersville, Georgia’s Washington County district, was also used for filming. Sandersville is well-known for its red clay, rolling hills, and pine and hardwood forests. It is located along the Fall Line, which divides the Piedmont Plateau from the Atlantic Coastal Plain.
