Veda Mektubu’s storyline follows two families, Yildiz and Karli. Thirty years ago, Alanur Yildiz and Ziya Karli had a relationship. They were deeply in love, but one letter changed everything between them drastically. Their fate reunites them again, but as parents whose kids are in love with each other. Asli, daughter of Alanur, and Mehmet, son of Ziya, are planning to get married.
Hatice tried to create problems in Mehmet and Asli’s relationship as she liked Mehmet earlier. Even after so many years have passed, Alanur and Ziya still have feelings and begin an affair. The truth was that Alanur and Ziya were all set to marry thirty years ago, but Ziya vanished without a trace.

Hatice informs about the truth to Mehmet that Alanur and his father are having an affair. Asli is shocked listening to it and tries to prove Hatice wrong and send her away from the house. Mehmet is angry at Asli for hiding the truth from him. Alanur was bullying his mother, Seher, but she didn’t keep quiet. Asli points out that she didn’t hide anything from him. Mehmet is shocked to learn about the affair between their parents.
Mehmet is disappointed in Asli since she made excuses while he was honest with her. She knew about the affair and informed his father, Ziye, who planned to speak to Mehmet himself. Mehmet left Asli alone in the house and contacted his mother to ask that Mina can visit Asli to stay with her. Meanwhile, Hatice arrived and shattered Mina’s phone.
Mina visits Asli and spends time with her. Asli mentions the time when she helped her by unlocking the door. In Mehmet’s absence, Mina plans to throw a birthday party for Derin. Asli permits them. Mina’s classmates are all invited to the celebration. Mina meets Efe at the party and becomes friends. Asli is concerned about Mehmet. He hasn’t phoned since he fled in rage.
Hatice tries to approach Mehmet and gain his trust. Asli discovers Mehmet’s location, and Efe drives her there. Hatice is attempting to make Asli envious. Asli brings Mehmet’s house back. He scolds her once more for hiding the facts and throwing a party for students while he was away.
Police arrive at Ziye’s house to take Mehment for testimony. Hakan Joskun, Beste’s husband, had applied it. Mehmet and his father are both stunned and concerned. Asli confronts Sefer about everything, from the affair to Hatice admitting it to her husband. She is attempting to end the relationship. Seher scolds Heltice for telling the truth to Mehmet. She has raised Hetice as her daughter, yet she is assisting her foe, Alanur.
Mehmet’s parents were happy about their grandchildren. They wish to raise him like their other children. They want the child to be happy and healthy. A quick phone call startled Ziya, and tea fell on his palm. Mehment and Asli are gradually resolving their disagreement. They are prepared to discuss everything.
