Ao Ashi Season 1 Episode 17 Recap
Aoi team is falling apart miserably. They got five losses in a row in the Tokyo Metropolis match. In the next match, they are faced with one of the best teams in the tournament. The good part is Aoi is also allowed to play in this match. Not as usual forward striker but a back defender. Nonetheless, he was just happy that he was also given an opportunity in the line-up first time in the matches. This time things will be different because their team was also joined by their former forward player Yoahitsune Kenta.
He is an amazing striker, one of the best. After discussing their strategy for the game, they call off the day. The next day before the match, Aoi is a feeling of excitement that he never felt before. The match begins, Aoi is playing on the defense lines and is the least experienced player there is. Everyone is seeing his weak points and trying to abuse them. But that’s where his training pays off. By sending his surroundings and trapping all the spaces of his opponent, he deduces correctly where the ball will go. After playing an extraordinary game, Yoahitsune scored a goal!
