Jinx Chapter 30 will start things as we are getting yet another new character into the series, this time a top material. The potato character that showed up in the earlier chapters was a bottom contender at best, but he helped change the tone of the story. Making him important to the series as he brought a new way in which the story could be told.
And with that new way of storytelling showed us a side of the main character unseen before. But how did it all begin? It started when Kim Dan and Jaekyung got into a fight with each other. Which was uncharacteristic of the two of them, but it was also exciting as they were put into a new situation.
Jaekyung was not easy on Kim Dan during the fight and even taunted him during the match. This is something he didn’t need to do since the match was in his favor from the start; then why did he do so? It was his way of testing Kim Dan and seeing if that doctor had developed at all since the last time.
Kim is a pushover, his loan sharks knew, and Jaekyung took benefit of it too, but he could show his spine when he needed to. Jaekyung wanted to know if Kim Dan punching him before was a fluke or did she have guts. As it turns out, he does have guts and is even willing to play dirty when need be.

Jinx Chapter 30 might as well be the start of season 2 for the series, given how much has happened. The story is intense, and very many things happen between just the two characters as they clash with one another. But in the end, they found some common ground and saw each other eyes.
But the resolution wasn’t just to stop them from exchanging blows. No, it was seeing the other as a man and seeing if they had any guts in them. This wasn’t apparent at the get-go but made clear in the three chapters that followed.
The first and third chapters were the ones that showed any story between the two; the middle one was not important. Not in terms of story, but it was a much-desired fan service chapter that was on the way after so long.
And the dialogue in it wasn’t of much consequence either, as the two were making sounds the whole time. Though, the chapter before was an important bit as it foreshadowed the events yet to come.
Jaekyung is not in top shape, and he needs to rest in between his training, but the athlete refuses to take rest. To him, it is all about winning, and taking care is the second most priority for him.
The reason for this is not explained, and it would be something that the story dives into the future, but that’s for the future.

Jinx Chapter 30 will have the K-Pop figure join the story and even add more spice to the story. Because at this point, it feels like all the major issues have been solved, and the new ones are starting to pop up. Jaekyung’s injury was one of them, and the other one was his fight with Potato in the future.
Speaking of Potato, it doesn’t look like he will have any relevance in the story going further, but he is the type to stick around. A type of character that would snoop into other people’s business and get involved in their matters. And then we have Kim Dan, who knows how to get others involved in his life without trying.
Kim Dan is the Lamb type that many can’t help but take advantage of; his affiliative nature is his biggest weakness. Though, he has started to grow out of his old persona and be able to stand up for himself. Jaekyung is also pushing to see how much he can stand for himself. And now the question is how the new character will fit into all this.
