As you may know by now, Brent Antonello portrays the character of Jamie Whelan on NBC’s hit crime show Law and Order. The actor has been a part of the show since the beginning of season 3 and has received much love from the audience, but his time on the show has ended. The show aired its season finale episode in May 2023, which is the last time we’ll see Antonello on the show.
In the final episode, Detective Whelan takes a gunshot wound and suffers from complete body paralysis. Unable to live the life of a paralyzed, Whelan decides to end his life and asks his co-partner, Detective Reyes, to disable the life support system.
