Believe it or not, popular actor Hugh Grant was initially supposed to replace Charlie Sheen. However, things did not happen as the actor later admitted that he did not quite feel comfortable signing on to the series before knowing all about the scripts and how his character would be, as that is what the network expected him to do.
Series creator Chuck Lorre later admitted that he was not being able to watch Two and a Half Men, given how things ended between him and lead actor Charlie Sheen.
