Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka is another promising series from Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms starring Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi as its main protagonists. This Sony TV series has been airing since 10th July 2023.
The storyline of this Hindi drama series revolves around Aradhana Sahni, a young woman who works as a determined and ambitious journalist. After a series of fortunate events, Aradhana get a job at one of the most popular and honest News platforms. The only catch is that she has to work with an egoistic and rude boss named Reyansh Lamba.
Since both Aradhana and Reyansh are headstrong individuals, they have a hard time communicating with each other without arguing. Although Reyansh looks like the spoiled rich kind at first, Aradhana soon realizes that there’s much more to this man who seems arrogant and unkind.
Barsatein is the first series Kushal Tandon has done after a break of almost 6 years. Asides from this, the drama is also the only collaboration where Ekta Kapoor has worked with Joshi and Tandon together. Poorva Gokhale and Sameer Malhotra portray Reyansh’s parents.

After successfully publishing an article about the corrupt Lamba family, Aradhana thinks she has achieved a milestone in her career as a journalist. However, the plan backfires as the Lamba family finds out about it. Aradhana’s boss, who previously appreciated her guts for bringing the news, soon fires her to apologize to Reyansh Lamba, the son of the news empire’s owner.
Vivek, the real owner & Reyansh’s father, likes the way Aradhana works and soon decides to hire her at his company instead. This is where Aradhana gets to know more about Reyansh and his family. Although she hates Reyansh’s perspective and way of doing things, Aradhana develops a connection with him that’s genuine and respectful.
The journey of their romance isn’t going to be easy, as Reyansh seems to be dealing with some past trauma which is the real reason he’s always so cold and arrogant. As for Aradhana, she has problems of her own at her house and personal life that keep coming back to haunt her.
Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka: Episode Schedule
Fresh episodes of Barsatein will be aired on Mondays and Fridays, with each episode lasting about 22-25 minutes. These episodes will have reruns on Sony LIV, so if you miss out, you can easily catch up on the show later. Since Ekta Kapoor’s shows are known to last quite a while (which in this case is good as Aradhana and Reyansh are eye candies), the show can have more than 50-100 episodes.
