Tyler Perry is known for his hit series focusing on everything from Black culture to adults in modern times. Once such series, Sistas, which involves a similar theme, will soon air its next episode. We’ve seen many shows revolving around teenagers or young adults who navigate through life, but grown-up adult women? Not many. Sistas brings us just that, coupled with comedy, emotions, romance and not to mention, the drama.
The show was first seen on television on October 23rd, 2019. Since then, its increasing popularity has led to subsequent seasons over the years. The most recent, Season 5, has started airing since October of this year. One of the couples, Zac and Fatima, received enough love and attention that the producers gave them their show, Zatima, which started airing on the same platform as Sistas in September 2022.
After 5 whole seasons, the women are each going through their ups and downs in life. Andi has mended her relationship with Gary, who was suing her in court. Danni and Preston seem to be more distant, while Sabrina is locked up due to speculations regarding the bank robbery. Karen has found out that she’s pregnant, but isn’t sure if the child is Aaron’s or Zac’s. She wants it to be Zac’s since she can’t seem to let go of her feelings for him.
Sistas Season 5 Episode 7: Quick Recap
In the past week’s episode 7, we see Karen’s mom having a meeting with Zac & Aaron at her house. Fatima shows up by herself. Zac is reluctant to be a part of it, but Fatima convinces him to stay. Karen’s mom, Lisa, wants Karen to let her feelings be known so that it could be easier for her to get over them. If the baby is Zac’s, things between Zac and Karen should be calm for the child’s upbringing.
Karen reads a letter with all her thoughts, which causes Zac to become uncomfortable and angry. He asks her to stop but Fatima lets her continue. Karen talks about her relationship with Zac, and how she did everything to make him a good person, but he never changed for her. Now he was giving the same love that Karen wanted, to Fatima and that’s what makes her frustrated.
Aaron, who is interested in Karen understands her feelings. After she reads her letter, Zac and Fatima leave the house while Lisa tries to calm her daughter down. Meanwhile, we see Gary showing up at Andi’s house. Fatima and Zac talk about the meeting, and Fatima lets Zac know that she isn’t mad at Karen, and understands what she might be feeling.
Danni invites the guy she met at the airport over and doesn’t have a good time with him. She and Andi call each other and talk about the guy, while Danni notices Andi’s happiness and guesses she’s with Gary. They also talk about Sabrina’s whereabouts. When Danni asks the guy to leave, he ends up physically harming her.

Episode 8 of Sistas season 5 will be aired on November 30th, 2022. New episodes of this Tyler Perry show are usually released on Wednesdays, with each episode lasting about 55-60 minutes.
Sistas Season 5 Episode 8: What To Expect?
In the upcoming episode of Sistas, we’ll be seeing Karen asking Andi to convince her mom for a day out. Karen had been told to stay at home all day, and she needed a change of scene. Danni arrives at Andi’s law firm with sunglasses covering her face. Andi asks her the reason, to which Danni replies that she needs a Lawyer. She probably hopes to sue the man from the airport for his violence.

The show is aired on Wednesdays on BET at 9:00 pm ET & 8:00 pm CT. The episodes can also be availed at BET’s streaming site. Other options include Fubo TV and Apple TV (US) and Apple TV (UK). As of now, Sistas is not available to stream in many regions outside of America.
