CTV’s latest romance series Sullivan’s Crossing is set to premiere on the streaming platform this week. Revolving around books by the best-selling author Robyn Carr, the story follows a woman as she leaves her hectic city life behind to start a new part of her life as a small-town girl in Nova Scotia.
This series will be directed by Gail Harvey, the award-winning director behind shows like Family Law and Pretty Hard Cases. The announcement of Robyn Carr’s novel series having a TV series adaptation was made last year, with the author even publishing the news on his website. The main cast of Sullivan’s crossing is set to include Morgan Kohan, Scott Patterson, and Chad Michael Murray.
Filming for the romance drama has been done mainly in Nova Scotia and other parts of Canada. What makes Sullivan’s Crossing more worthy of a watch is the filming location for Maggie’s home, which is situated near large beautiful lakes and scenic woods. This is no surprise as to why the place is where most fishermen and travelers stop by to recharge before their next journey on the show.
