This is a feel-good drama series that follows the journey of a woman who has just turned 36 years of age. Even though some might feel as if they are old at this time, Yaz decides to turn her own life around.
Turns out that till now, she has only been doing what people around wanted her to. She always fitted in and never raised a hand about why things are the way they are. But realizing that being the perfect woman does not make her happy, Yaz will go out to take the reign in her own hands and find her happiness within thus making up for the title. Also, she will renovate her entire life according to what she likes, and well, we are here for the same.
Back in Finding Happy Episode 4, titled Finding No One, we saw that J Braids are finally going to open to the customers and it is a grand opening for sure. This also means that Jamilla will need all the people working to help her at such a crucial and important event in her life.
Now, we also saw that Dextor is trying really hard in order to become a long-haul trucker. The opening conflicts with his plan unfortunately but also gives him an insight into how things should be in the future moving forward.
Now, we see that Jo, the mother of Jamila, has come forth as well, and she is causing some new problems for her and the goals that she has set for herself. This gives chaos a space to unload. In the 5th episode, titled Finding the Wrench, we see that The Brunch Crew is now live and open. This gives Glamour Girl, as well as influencer Princess Charles an open spot on the D-1s.

Although, this frustrates Yaz a lot and brings out some new feelings which we might have never seen before. Thus, Yaz asks Shaun to pick up all the things that are hers at his place and bring them. Later, when she is at the church, we see her flirting with a very handsome man, and its sure is going to stir her heart in some way or the other.
In Finding Happy Episode 6, titled Finding the Surprise, we saw that the family is now celebrating their annual get-together. This means new troubles for Yaz because she is yet to confront her plans with her parents. Her father, Raymond, is in town right now. There is also a tonne of drama between his new girlfriend named Cassandra, who goes one on one against Marilyn, his ex-wife. Another set of drama comes in Yaz’s life with Shawn. He tried to make a great surprise for her by showing up at her workplace.
Although, this makes him even more jealous because he now has to face off with Porter. In the most recent 7th episode of the series titled Finding the Worry, we saw that Chanel, the coworker of Yaz, has finally decided to make a big move in her honor. She broke a designer flagship lunch for her named It’s Ya Girl Yaz. Now that the event is inching closer than ever, Chanel asks Yaz to go for some bold looks that she might not have tried before. Later, we see that D-1 Media and their executives tell Porter that Princess Charles needs some more space for their development which means Yaz will finally get her own space “away” from them.
