The Story of The Princess and The Werewolf is about the love story of the Beast King and a restless princess. Qi Pa is the princess of Daxia. She is cheerful and has new ideas about living life. Kui Mu Lang is the King of the Beast clan who turns into a beast at night. He had a Holy Pearl, and his life expectancy depended on it. In an unexpected accident, it got into the body of Qi Pa.
Kui Mu Lang takes Qi Pa to his clan to marry her. She became the queen of the Beast clan without her consent. Qi Pa never saw her husband’s face. She was planning all possible ways to leave and go back. One day, she met another handsome man, Li Xiong. Li Xiong visits her only in the daytime. Later, Qi Pa learns the truth behind the Holy Pearl and Kui Mu Lang’s beast look.
The Princess and The Werewolf Episode Recap:
Jing Muan reports to Qi Pa that Kui Mu Lang and Li Xiong are not two different individuals but one. Qi Pa doesn’t believe his words. She notes that he and Kui Mu Lang are not on good terms, so he shouldn’t make up lies. Jing Muan proposes his report before Qi Pa to justify his comments.
Kui Mu Lang and Li Xiong were never present together. Kui Mu Lang is very cautious about his guards. He always covers himself with a black cloak to hide his face. Jing Muan advises Qi Pa to verify the fact herself.
Qi Pa decides to meet Kui Mu Lang herself. As Qi Pa cannot see, Kui Mu Lang is not covering himself in a cloak. He meets her in his real appearance. Qi Pa is lying to Kui Mu Lang about her blindness because she wants to verify and prove Jing Muan’s statement was fake.
Jing Muan mentioned that Kui Mu Lang looks different during the day and night. Qi Pa wanted to see if he would change or not. Bai Ke chased Jing Muan to learn more about their plan of attack against Kui Mu Lang. Qi Pa saw hideous Kai Mu Lang turning into handsome Li Xiong. She was too confused to understand the matter. She demanded a proper explanation from Kui Mu Lang.
Kui Mu Lang explained that the Beast clan has a holy spring. He is responsible for transfusing internal force for the health of his people. Kui Mu Lang transformed into a beast a few years ago while transfusing. Five years ago, he found the Holy Pearl. Due to an accident, the holy pearl is in Qi Pa’s body. To obtain that pearl back, he needs a kiss of true love.
Qi Pa feels deceived by the lie told by Kui Mu Lang. She felt devasted by the selfish motive of Kui Mu Lang. She ought never to see him ever again. Kui Mu Lang agreed to take Qi Pa back to Daxia.
Qi Pa overhears a conversation about Kui Mu Lang’s struggle to survive without the holy pearl. Liu Jun explains to Qi Pa that Kui Mu Lang is not as self-centered as she believes. He has been indebted to her since the day she entered the Beast clan. He is deeply in love with her. He had never before loved anyone. Qi Pa decided to return the Holy Pearl to Kui Mu Lang.
