Previously on Fireworks of my heart, there was a fire drill in the hospital. Everyone focused on saving and relocating the patients and staff during the emergency. Xu Qin was waiting for help. Sang Yan found her. He was cold towards her and asked why she was still in the room and not asked for help.
Suddenly, the room started to tremble, and Sang Yan saved Xu Qin by covering her like a shield. The drill became intense as there was an earthquake. It was a 6.5 magnitude earthquake that struck Yancheng City. Hospital staff and the Fire department initiated protocols to help the city.
The evacuation of the devastated site was carried out by fire and rescue departments. The hospital also dispatched an elite team to the location. Doctors from every department volunteered to take part. They gathered all of the necessary stuff. The medical team packed Food, medicine, first aid kits, and other needs to assist on-site patients.
Xu Qin informs her family that she has joined the medical team and will stay in Wangxiang for a few days. She won’t be able to receive any calls. The medical and fire rescue team leaves to check the disaster areas.
The rescue team marched with equipment and lights to check for the civilian. Emergency Camps were created to provide treatment. They had relief supplies for the disaster. The rescue team moved heavy broken pieces and saved people underneath it.
One firefighter seemed worried, and Sang Yan asked the reason. He explained that his family’s house collapsed in the earthquake, but he couldn’t locate his mother.
The site is very fragile, and the area keeps collapsing due to the effect of the earthquake. Xu Qin was running with her crew to save patients through her medical skills. Sang Yan was with his crew going to rescue more people. They looked at each other for a moment.
The team was overworked and didn’t have time to relax. Both teams took a small break to gain energy and eat something. Xu Qin’s feet were swollen. She volunteered after receiving a call requesting an on-site doctor. They found an unconscious pregnant lady. Xu Qin did the operation and delivered the baby. Medical staff took them to the hospital.
