Martin’s interactions with the villagers provide a lot of amusement because he lacks social skills and any sort of bedside manner, which frequently causes misunderstandings. Louisa Glasson, a teacher, is his love interest in the show.

Doc Martin Season 10 Episode 6, released on October 12, 2022, was titled “Return To Sender.” The marriage of Doctor Martin Ellingham and Louisa has experienced ups and downs over the years, but this episode puts the two of them to the ultimate test when his ex-Sophie Trent shows up. When Louisa and Martin go to a medical conference in London where the Portwenn GP is a speaker, trouble begins to ensue.
Sophie, who is also a guest at the conference, quickly starts tormenting the pair. Louisa is shocked to learn from Sophie that she is the subject of the Doc’s speech and is horrified that her husband would be discussing her problematic cervix and displaying slides of her internal organs for the audience.
Later, after having too many drinks, Sophie confides in Louisa that she is going through a difficult divorce and that Martin broke her heart when they were medical students. Louisa is initially sympathetic. Later on, though, when she sees Sophie and Martin in an inappropriate situation, she has a different opinion. Louisa is pushed to her limit and confronts Martin.

Doc Martin Season 10 Episode 7 is titled “Love Will Set You Free” and is scheduled to air on ITV on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Caitlin accuses Bert of flooding the pub’s cellar, while Morwenna is assisted in making a critical choice by an incident with Chris Parsons on the rocks.
This is the penultimate episode, and what happens here will directly affect how the series ends, but we haven’t yet seen how all the plot lines will pan out.
