This will show us Aya Arisugawa’s journey ahead after she took her hopes and dreams of attending college and then completely gave up on them. Will her life as a vtuber be successful? On March 18, 2023, Tonikaku Kawaii Chapter 229 got released and showed us the thought process of Aya and Tsukasa as they both tried to figure out their future plans. Aya states that she will become a popular vtuber someday, and as ridiculous as it sounds, she actually has a solid plan for it which forces everyone to agree with her, and so begins her quest!

This chapter included Aya and Tsukasa deciding on their career paths, as is clear from the title of this chapter. Aya tells Tsukasa that her career plans are rock solid as she has thought about it in great detail, and so she can almost guarantee a good future. Tsukasa gets gloomy after seeing her confidence and congratulates her in a very low tone.
Aya says that a good academic background is really necessary for getting a good future, and in their day and age, it’s even more important. Tsukasa is still gloomy and says that if Aya thinks so, then it must be true, but she doesn’t know if it’s essential for sustainability. Aya says that following that, it’s crucial that they attend a good university after high school.
Aya turns to Tsukasa and asks her if she’s keeping up with the news, as everyone’s talking about SDGS, Stem Degrees, and Get Salaries. She’s wrong about the full form, and everyone, including Tsukasa, knows about this.
After giving all this academic talk, Aya says that she has decided to become a vtuber from the University of Tokyo which makes Tsukasa stunned (this was way too funny).
Tsukasa asks Aya to repeat what she said as she believes she might have misheard, but Aya says that these SDGS talk must be a lot for her, which makes Tsukasa angry as he barely holds herself back from smacking her.
Tsukasa asks Aya if she’s going to attend UTokyo University then, but she denies it. Aya says that it’s just for her back story, and so there’s no need to actually attend the university.
Aya gives an example that just because a Kaitou kid has an IQ of 400, then that doesn’t mean Aoyama-sensei has to have an IQ of 400 as well. This example of her insults every Kase Klosed fan in one strike. Aya then explains her plan further that she would make her grand debut as a vtuber fresh out of Tokyo University, and she’ll capture the hearts of all the people with this story.
Aya gets really proud of her plans, but Tsukasa thinks otherwise and says that it would be like a vtuber from Yuradumbass University, indirectly calling Aya a dumbass. Nasa walks in on them conversating and says that being a vtuber sounds like a lot of work to him, and he tells Aya to just keep being a normal vtuber and gradually expand her horizon.
Tsukasa agrees with Nasa and says that his plan is better as Aya’s plan is filled with lies that will affect her in the future and would probably get her labeled as a fake. Aya gets angry and says that she wouldn’t be able to generate much revenue this way, but Nasa argues that she can pull it off no matter how hard it might be.
Aya agrees with him and says that she would require a collab with other YouTubers to grow her influence, and she believes that there would definitely be some great tubers in her college.
