The last episode of The Masked Singer’s ninth season on Fox brought us three great performances by Macaw, UFO, and California Roll, and three undercover celebrities have been saved by the bell: Medusa, Mantis, and Gargoyle as the quarter-finals of this wildly entertaining musical contest! The Masked Singer Season 9 Episode 10 Recap
The last episode of The Masked Singer gave us the “Supreme Six.” It’s been dramatic, crazy, and exciting. We saw performances and clues from the Supreme Six. But before we delve into that, let’s recap a bit about how did we get here!
So far, we have three contestants who have each earned a spot in the quarter-finals, but they’re not safe because three more saved singers measure up to them in the upcoming episode for a chance to rejoin the contest!
California Roll
We kick things off with California Roll, performing Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” as they begin with their backs to the public and slowly begin to dance all over the stage like a well-choreographed sushi show as they make the public sing along.
If you recall, these guys sang Gaga’s Paparazzi and managed with their talent to make it this far. Moreover, California Roll sees Medusa as their main competitor, and if you recall, Medusa’s “Uptown Girl” performance was quite amazing, so they’re right to fear Medusa’s talent.
As for the clues, Ken thinks California Roll might be somebody from “High School Musical,” and Jenny picked up a clue from “Pitch Perfect,” so could it be?
Macaw
Macaw gave us a few clues on who they might be: Telenovelas, salsa, and arrows. Who could it be? After that, Macaw took the stage to play Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” with great talent and fanfare!
UFO
UFO’s way to this stage was tough: She battled “Lamp” (Melissa Joan Hart) along the way, who did a pretty good job in the season. As for UFO clues, they are telling us something about a sewing machine, an Italian flag, and a tiara. Who could it be? As for UFO’s performance, it was “Stargazing” by Kygo.
