The release date of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 Episode 10 is here! The drag race show premiered the first episode of its fifteenth season on January 6, 2023. Due to its immense popularity, this season also has a sizable amount of viewership. Audiences are loving the competition between the queens and the extravagant style they are coming up within each episode.
This season has seen the largest number of contestants with sixteen queens competing for a cash prize of $200,000. The judges of the show are the same as the last season – Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, and Ross Mathews. Other than them, there is a new member added to the judging panel – TS Madison.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 Episode 9 Recap
The episode opens with RuPaul announcing to the queens that it is the 200th episode of the show, so there is going to be a huge celebration. So, he announces the theme of the day – ‘Crystal Ball.’
Before the beginning of the main competition, a mini challenge takes place, where the queens have to photobomb the iconic moments in the Drag Race herstory. The queens have to style themselves with the help of costumes from the brand ‘PrettyLittleThing.’
The mini-challenge begins. The first contestant is Salina EsTitties. She gives Season 6’s Laganja Estranja’s death–drop introduction a fresh variation. Next, Anetra attempts to jump into Willow Pill’s spaghetti and toast bathtub. Malaysia Babydoll Foxx represented the legendary Miss Vanjie’s meme. Spice attempts to surpass Lady Gaga’s appearance to reach the height of fame. Next, the moment between Vivacious and Ornacia in the Season 6 premiere is elevated by Luxx Noir London.
Ru’s infamous photo with Morgan McMichaels gains additional “pop” due to Mistress. Marcia Marcia Marcia appeared hairless and bold and took attention away from Jinkx Monsoon’s Season 5 coronation. Next, in an attempt to win, Sasha Colby slipped herself into RuPaul’s DESPY Awards picture from Season 7. By joining Serena Chacha in the water tank task, Loosey LaDuca demonstrates that she is capable of both swimming and sinking.
After the photoshoot, the winner of the mini-challenge is declared to be Anetra.
Then, the rules and criteria of the main challenge are announced. The queens have to show three outstanding looks for the ‘Crystal Ball.’ The first round will be “Start Your Engines,” in which the queens have come up with a brand-new rendition of RuPaul’s iconic racing suit. The second sound is titled “My Favourite Ball,” in which the queens have to recreate an elegant style from one of the previous balls in the show. In the final round titled “Crystallized Eleganza,” the queens have to design their own outfits in the Werk Room using Zelouf Fabrics but making sure to cover them in crystals.
After the announcement, the queens rush to grab their materials in the Werk Room. Parallelly, while working, Anetra shares a story about her family, where she narrates how her mother betrayed her and threw her out of the house but her father accepted her and supported her drag.
For the 200th episode celebration, actress Julia Garner is invited as the guest judge. After a while, the first round starts. Mistress demonstrates every “big girl” contestant in the series’ history by placing the “plus” in plus-sized. Next, Spice transforms the racing suit into a minidress, giving out a doll version of it. Luxx opts for “motocross interpretation” where she wears a mini top with thigh-high boots. Marcia depicts her 70s aesthetics with the help of a streamlined shape and wearing a rainbow-colored outfit.
EsTitties adopts a loose B-girl-inspired look. Malaysia picks a stylish, shimmering outfit that falls between a futuristic spacewoman and a Hello Kitty pastel fantasy. Loosey LaDuca represents a seductive speed racer by infusing the characteristics of Barbie and Princess Peach. In a champagne-inspired gown with plenty of bosom and flawless lines, Sasha demonstrates her true maternal qualities. With flags from Anetra’s family’s native nations along with a yellow dress, Anetra pays homage to her ancestry.
After the comments from the judges, the second round starts. This round starts with Mistress wearing a huge beachball outfit. Marcia represents a canvas-covered milkmaid. Malaysia wears a black and white dress with a matching wig. Spice goes with the cheerleader concept with a purple dress and pom pom balls. EsTitties represents an EB- Tree.
Loosey gives off a hippie vibe along with a crown made out of dog-poop bags. Luxx gives out a coquettish rendition to Thierry Mugler and S&M. Sasha pays tribute to the plant which makes marijuana enthusiasts around the world happy. Finally, Anetra finishes the round wearing a catsuit covered in desserts.
Immediately, the third round begins after the comments from the judges. Mistress gives off a socialite vibe, dripping with gems of all sizes that decorate her white dress to perfection. Spice wears a halter top and a skirt representing “disco ball realness” to the runway. Marcia’s outfit is influenced by Marie Antoinette on top and vintage bordello chic on the bottom. Malaysia wears a tight-fit beaded outfit in pink and pastel shades.
EsTitties wears a simple revealing sleeveless dress. In the role of a pageant girl who broke under the weight of losing, Loosey channels her moments of rage. Luxx wears a tutu influenced by Swarovski. Sasha is seen wearing a coral and gold outfit which appears to b emerging from a shell. This round too ends with Anetra, who is seen to be wearing a dress decorated with crystal spikes.
After the amusing rounds, the winner of the Crystal Ball is declared to be Sasha Colby. On the other hand, EsTitties and Spice get the last rankings, so they enter the lip sync battle. But after the battle, Spice gets eliminated.
