The Trailside Killer or episode 1 will feature the popular Northern California hiking trails which served as the backdrop for a terrible mystery between 1979 and 1981. Women were being raped and killed in a location where they had always felt safe by a man dubbed the Trailside Killer.
The vicious assaults shocked the neighborhood and infuriated police enforcement. Until one victim succeeded in escaping and named a middle-aged guy leading a typical life with his parents, they had few leads as to who the murderer was.
The Slave Master or episode 2 will narrate the stories of women started going missing in the Kansas City area in the middle of the 1980s. Except for a peculiar link to a man by the name of John Robinson, they had literally nothing in common.
He appeared to be the ideal husband, daddy, and businessman. However, Robinson was actually a cunning serial killer who went by the moniker “Slavemaster.” He enjoyed BDSM (bondage, discipline, and sado-masochism), and for nearly 20 years he avoided capture by employing complex lies and his sly silver tongue.
Unfortunately, Robinson—one of the first killers to exploit the internet as a platform for victim stalking—killed eight people before a determined police sting investigation could bring him to justice.

You will have the opportunity to learn about the story of David Carpenter, a.k.a. “The Trailside Murder.” We will get to learn how between late 1970s and early 1980s, the Carpenter who is approximately 92 successfully attacked and killed a number of women in campgrounds of California before he got apprehended.
When he assaulted Lisa Rinna’s mom, Lois, in 1960, he made his initial attempt at homicide. Lisa Rinna is a cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Only Lois and another person managed to escape their confrontation with Carpenter.
He is currently on execution row and continues to be wanted for two more killings. The two-hour episodes delve deeply into the spine-chilling criminals at their core using archive film and deep discussions with journalists and law enforcement.
